GST portal has option to change of GST return frequency from monthly to quarterly.
To change GST return frequency from
monthly to quarterly step should be followed as follows;

Login in to the portal.

Then dashboard shows return dash
board, create challan, view notice and order and finally shows continue to
dashboard then you click on that it’s bring you in to another page called
ledger balance.

There is a one button shows file
returns then you click on that its bring you in to another page and select
financial year and period and click on search button.
There is a edit button showing as Please
click here to edit your preference for Return Filing. Click on that edit
button then its shows if your turnover greater 1.5 crore? Then you select
option NO and submit it.
Note:
option once you selected it cannot be changed entire financial year so if u wants
to change option you should wait till end of the financial year.
